Advertising Guidelines

(i.e. Disney Princess, Marvel's Spider-Man™, etc.)
The following guidelines must be followed when marketing any of DecoPac's licensed character products:

• Legal copy must be included in the advertisement (i.e. ©Disney). This information can be obtained here
• Retailers may only use product in use images downloaded from DecoPac.com (i.e. images where product is featured on a cake or cupcake). Images of product only cannot be downloaded or used in any advertising or marketing material.
• Generic font such as Times New Roman must be used for ad copy (i.e. MINECRAFT Cupcakes $2.99).
• Only approved editorial copy can be used in association with marketing the licensed IP. Approved copy can be found in our Marketing Toolkits.
• Account name/logo cannot be associated with the licensed product in terms of the ads content and physical layout (i.e. cannot state "Disney Cakes from Joe’s Bakery").
• Please ensure clear separation of properties. Properties cannot be combined in advertising.
• Ad cannot be associated with or in proximity to "Non-Child Friendly" products or words such as alcohol, cigarettes, profanity, cleaning solutions or pharmaceuticals.
• A PDF of the final ad must be emailed to DP-LicensedMarketingMaterials@decopac.com to keep on file for the Licensor/owner of the specific character featured.

If a Bakery or Retailer has sponsorship deal with a local team, please work with the team’s corporate advertising or marketing department to understand the specific advertising guidelines. If a chain does not have local team sponsorship, the following guidelines must be followed:

• Legal copy must be included in the advertisement (i.e. ©2026 NBA Properties, Inc.). This information can be obtained here.
• Retailers may only use product in use images downloaded from DecoPac.com (i.e. images where product is featured on a cake or cupcake). Images of product only cannot be downloaded or used in any advertising or marketing material.
• Team or League logos cannot be used (i.e. Yankees, Bulls, etc.) except for the downloaded images from DecoPac.com of the officially licensed product.
• Only approved editorial can be used in association with marketing the licensed IP. Please reference marketing toolkits for approved editorial.
• Generic font must be used for ad copy (i.e. NFL Kansas City Chiefs Cupcakes $2.99).
• Account name/logo cannot be associated with the team or league in terms of the ad's context or physical layout (i.e. "MLS Cakes from Bob’s Bakery" or "Bob’s Bakery Bengal Cakes").
• A PDF of the final ad must be emailed to DP-LicensedMarketingMaterials@decopac.com to keep on file for the Licensor/owner of the specific character featured.

All product designs, cake designs, and associated images/photos are owned and copyrighted by DecoPac, Inc. Upon purchase of DecoPac products, Customers may use the associated images/photos only if the following copyright notice appears with the image/photo: ©2026 DecoPac, Inc.

Any other reproduction or representation of DecoPac’s original cake and product designs or Licensors’ intellectual property without prior written authorization from DecoPac, Inc., is strictly prohibited.
